My Approach: I strive to create a safe and supportive space which allows people to feel comfortable and open to sharing their thoughts and feelings. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, guidance, and an insight-oriented approach, I help people learn new coping skills, increase self awareness, build upon their strengths, identify problematic thoughts and behaviors, and gain insight in to present problems. Throughout therapy, I help people work on the 'here and now' issues while examing how past experiences may be impacting their current problems. Ultimately, therapy sessions help people uncover what is keeping them stuck while giving them the tools they need to move forward and begin enjoying life again. Sessions Details: Individual sessions are 45-50 minutes in length. Sessions are scheduled weekly or bi weekly depending on the presenting concerns.
