About Me
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), practicing in Montclair, NJ, I specialize in helping women with anxiety, relationship issues, depression, motherhood, college stress and life cycle changes. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, guidance, and an insight oriented approach, I help people work on the 'here and now' issues while also examining how past experiences may be impacting present problems. In order for people to take the courageous step towards making changes in their life, they need to feel a sense of safety, validation, and support, which are all elements I work hard to provide to my clients. As a mother of two and a woman of color, I’m also able to have a deeper personal understanding regarding the challenges of motherhood as well as issues of race. Colleagues, clients and supervisors have described me as warm and relatable, helping people feel at ease and comfortable in therapy.

I have been trained in various therapeutic approaches such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Parent and Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Relational Therapy for Couples and Families.
